SVT-10BD is designed to perform transverse vibration tests on beams. It features a crank mechanism capable of increasing the rotational speed up to 1000 RPM, a steel beam pivoted at both ends, and low-friction bearings with interchangeable beam supports for various boundary conditions. A digital tachometer with a control switch allows precise regulation of rotational speed (accuracy: 1 rev/min). The apparatus is mounted on a rigid aluminum frame that minimized structural vibration and improves measurement accuracy. It enables the determination of the system’s natural frequency, resonance frequency, and the effect of absorber characteristics. The arm length and absorber mass position can be finely adjusted to eliminate vibration.  Additional weights can be mounted on the crank mechanism through a reliable loading mechanism.
