The SIT-5 impact testing machine is designed in compliance with ISIRI 1164 standard. A pendulum with standardized mass, geometry, and release angle strikes the test specimen; if a fracture occurs, the specimen fails quality control inspection. To execute the test, the pendulum is raised via a cable system and secured at the standard-defined release angle by an electromagnetic latch allowing the pendulum to swing freely and impact the specimen. Featuring adjustable, versatile, versatile grips, the system accommodates a wide range of porcelain containers and ceramic products with different geometries.
