With servo electrical operating mechanism, STM-150 controls the load via feedback of load cell and accurate displacement of grips. Servomotor and driver, increase the precision; test is carried out in a wide range of speed (0.001-500mm/min) using the feedback from the encoder. Precision load cell attached to the grip directly senses any changes in force during the test. Low profile load cell with the capacity of 15000kgf, class 0.5, max. 0.5% error of reading in the range of 2% to 10% of load cell capacity as per standard EN 10002, ISO 7500 (SANTAM calibration certificate is attached) and resolution 1/100000 minimizes the machine error, leading to increase in accurate load measurement during the test. Moreover, STM-150 due to numerous instruments and accessories complete with SANTAM software (ease of operation of STM controller and advanced Jadoo), can carry out various experiments. Precise displacement control with encoder feedback (resolution 0.0001mm, accuracy 0.05mm) used for stabilizing the test velocity as well as wide range of the grip speed enable the operator to carry out the test in different areas. The machine is equipped with special compression grip to test hot briquette iron and is also capable of recording and displaying strength test results for each briquette as well indicating max/min deviation in each group, and other capabilities such as:
•Automatic stop system upon
•50% drop in maximum force
•50% decrease in length
•Creating test groups with the following capabilities:
•Drawing strength graph in each group
•Defining the quantity of correct tests
•Defining the test speed as per standard
•Defining the grip speed up to 1000mm/min
•Reporting the performed group tests with high accuracy
•Displaying the strength test results for each briquette of the group
•Omitting any test result in case of errors
•Displaying min, max, average and deviation in each group
•Drawing the strength graph in each group
•Defining various reporting based on acquired data from each test
This machine is intended to test and study the compressive strength of hot briquetted iron as per the requirements given in the standards, mainly used by QC labs in industrial and research centers.
