With servo electrical operating mechanism, STM-1 controls the load via feedback of load cell and accurate displacement of grips. Servomotor and driver, increase the precision; test is carried out in a wide range of speed (0.001-1000mm/min) using the feedback from the encoder. Precision load cell attached to the grip directly senses any changes in force during the test. A load cell with the capacity of 100kgf, type S, class 0.5 with max. 0.5% of reading in the range of 2% to 10% of load cell capacity as per standard EN 10002, ISO 7500 and resolution 1/100000 minimizes the machine error, leading to increase in accurate load measurement during the test. Moreover, STM-1 due to numerous instruments and accessories complete with SANTAM software (ease of operation of STM controller and advanced Jadoo), can carry out various experiments. Precise displacement control with encoder feedback (resolution 0.0001mm, accuracy 0.05mm) used for stabilizing the test velocity as well as wide range of the grip speed enable the operator to carry out the test in different areas. The machine is capable of recording and displaying strength test results for each pellet as well as its diameter, indicating max/min deviation in each group, and other capabilities such as:

•Automatic stop system upon:

•50% drop in maximum force for dry pellets

•50% decrease in length for plastic pellets

•Creating test groups with the following capabilities:

•Drawing strength graph in each group

•Defining the quantity of correct tests

•Defining min/max confirmed diameter

•Defining the test speed as per standard

•Defining the grip speed up to 1000mm/min

•Displaying the performed group tests with high accuracy and speed

•Displaying the strength test results for each pellet of the group

•Omitting any test result in case of errors

•Displaying min, max, average and deviation in each group

•Indicating the percentage of pellets with strength less than 100, 150, and 250Kg or more than 400Kg in individual columns with the possibility of defining and changing the aforementioned values by the operator

•Drawing the strength graph in each group

•Accurate measurement and displaying the diameter of each pellet

•Defining various reporting based on acquired data from each test

GCS testing machine is intended to study the GCS as per requirements in ISO 4700:2015 and ASTM E382 standards in QC labs and research centers.
