The machine stroke is 450mm, the distance between the grips (regarding their size) is 100 mm–550 mm, it can measure the test force, up to 10 KN, via a load cell (accuracy 0.5% of the reading and resolution of 1/20000 of capacity) and apply load to the machine with 300% of safety factor. The device has a measurement system with resolution of 0.005 mm to measure changes in length. Machine operating mechanism is pneumatic with working pressure of 4 bars (protected) and by means of a special electronic system, the force and elongation are measured and then the springs test results are accepted or rejected. The system can be connected to computer (if needed) to draw the spring graphs and display load-elongation data, it can define the test unit in N or Kgf, and find the force corresponding to elongation or elongation corresponding to force.
SST-10P is intended to test and control the quality of various springs to determine their stiffness and obtain the force in certain elongation or calculate elongation under certain force. Regarding the minimum and maximum definable values in the standards, springs can be classified in certain categories.
