The torque measurement system is class 0.5 (max. error 0.5% of the reading within the range of 2% to 100% of capacity) in compliance with EN 10002 and ISO 7500 standards.<\/p>\n<p>Hot torsion testing machines are used for determining the hot deformation temperature range of medium-carbon Ni-Cr-Mo low-alloy steels<\/p>\n<p>Capable of performing torsion-controlled or angel-controlled cyclic tests based on advanced rate-controlled loading methods, including constant angle change rate, constant strain rate, constant torque rate, constant true strain rate, and constant true stress rate, while plotting the corresponding curves in real time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Load Rate Control available for all machine instruments<\/li>\n<li>Control modes: Torque, Stress<strong><sup>\u2022<\/sup><\/strong>, Strain<strong><sup>\u2022<\/sup><\/strong>, Angle, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A detachable furnace (up to 1000\u02daC) is designed with supporting interfaces and guide rods, proportional to the specimen dimensions, and includes a quenching system in compliance with ASTM STP 498. For precise temperature measurement, the furnace is equipped with class-A, type K flexible thermocouples (accuracy: 2\u02daC, resolution: 0.1\u02daC), along with a PID control system and digital temperature display.<\/p>\n<p>The torsion testing machine is designed to determine the torsional shear strength of metals under controlled testing conditions, with strain rate control accuracy of 0.001 s<sup>-1<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>The machine is a servo-mechanical system equipped with a gearbox, a high-precision torque meter, and a protractor with an accuracy of 0.001\u02da. It is fully computerized and controlled via RS-232 through DSP-based hardware technology, with no restriction in PC type. The user-friendly software provides control over the system, including plotting torque-RPM graphs and generating comprehensive reports. It records, restores, recalls, and prints test results; defines the test speed; analyzes graphs; and determines the max. torque points, failure torque, and yield torque point on the curve.
