Test beams made of brass, aluminum, and steel are provided to evaluate and compare the influence of material properties on beam behavior and test results. Support reactions are measured using three load cells, each with a 5 kg capacity, which functions as beam supports and display the applied load directly on digital indicators. Load cells are considered as supports on the beam to report the support forces. Beam deflections is measured using three precision dial indicators with a resolution of 0.01 mm. The dial indicators adjustable along the graduated ruler and can be positioned at required distances along the beam. Loads are using three load hangers and calibrated weights, which can be positioned at specified locations along the beam span.
