Wide span, more height, furnace and high-temperature accessories (interfaces and grips) in these machines feature enhanced structure due to high temperature causing multiple restrictions regarding its design.<\/p>\n<p>Modifications and added accessories enable long-term high-temperature and creep rupture testing. The operating mechanism is servo-mechanical with ball screws, driven by an AC servo motor and driver a very low-speed operation (0.001 mm\/min). Force is measured by a 2-ton load cell, accuracy class 0.5 (max. error 0.5% of the reading within 2% to 100% of load cell capacity) in compliance with ISO 7500 and EN 10002 ensuring precise stress control.<\/p>\n<p>The system is equipped with a silicon carbide (SIC) furnace up to 1500\u02daC, made of high-quality materials for applying thermal stress during long-term tests. This design is significantly different from 1100\u02daC furnaces. Thermal zones are individually controlled by a digital PID controller through an HMI touch-screen panel. Three thermocouples are mounted for measuring the mean specimen temperature and the furnace bulk temperature, with automatic compensation for temperature gradients between zones based on real-time specimen thermocouple feedback, with a resolution of 0.1\u02daC. The furnace can move vertically relative to the specimen to allow easy access for sample handling and thermocouple adjustment. It can also be quickly detached using support arms and guide rods.<\/p>\n<p>The machine features displacement sensor without restriction, providing 0.03 \u00b5m resolution in no load mode and displacement measurement accuracy better than 0.05 mm at full stroke. it also includes a specialized extensometer attached to the specimen inside the furnace, measuring strain with 0.001 mm accuracy (at 980\u02daC). The stroke of the machine is designed to accommodate the load cell, grips, and in-furnace interfaces.<\/p>\n<p>The most important advantage of servo electrical machines is their wide range of test definitions and high accuracy in force and displacement control, enabling full compliance with current testing standards. Unlike dead-weight creep testing machines, they are free from associated limitations and are classified as research-grade equipment. With advanced software and hardware capabilities, the system can perform rate-controlled tests using a low-capacity load cell to enhance the measurement accuracy.<\/p>\n<p>Load Rate Control for all machine instruments, Control (Force<strong>\u2022<\/strong>, Stress<strong>\u2022<\/strong>, Extension<strong>\u2022<\/strong>, Strain<strong>\u2022<\/strong>, \u2026 = cte)<\/p>\n<p>The machine is fully computerized via RS-232 and USB serial ports and uses digital signal processing (DSP) hardware technology. Creep test is performed using powerful Windows-based software, covering all classic stages: primary, secondary, and tertiary creep. High-temperature creep tests can be performed in both Stress Rupture and constant stress modes.
